Iron Crow Theatre Company, Baltimore’s LGBT/Queer theatre, is proud to partner with Baltimore Theatre Project to present the American Foundation for Equal Rights and Broadway Impact's 8, a new play by Dustin Lance Black. This provocative new work by the openly gay, Oscar-winning author of Milk, tells the story of the California legal battle to have Proposition 8 struck down as unconstitutional.  Taken directly from transcripts of the trial, you won’t believe the twists and turns that really took place in the courtroom. 

Broadway Impact is presenting readings of 8 across the country to raise awareness of, support for, and funds for local legislative battles for marriage equality.

So join Iron Crow for 8 and help support marriage equality in Maryland!  All proceeds will go to the America Federation for Equal Rights.  You’ll be part of an important moment in history and you’ll get to see a powerful play presented by the theatre named “Best New Face on the Theatre Scene” by Baltimore City Paper 2011.
